What Causes Pain In The Index Finger After A Cervical Fusion?

I recently had a cervical fusion. Six months after surgery I have had no relief from the pain/numbness/tingling. Is it possible I have carpel tunnel syndrome? The only digits affected are the thumb and index finger of my left hand. Everything I read says CST would affect the middle or ring finger too, hence it isn t CST. Any advice would be welcome---I take gabapentin but it doesn t help much.

It may be a case of trapped nerve root at the spinal level.
I recommend visiting a neurologist to ascertain the cause.
Till then Neural vitamins like Vit B1, B2, B3, B6, B12 can be taken to help in nerve repair and fasten recovery.

Hope this answers your query, Thank you.
