What Causes Pain In The Instep With Bone Protrusion?

I considering going to the acute care center. 3 days ago I stepped down and felt a sharp pain in the bottom of my foot around the insole area. Now 3 days later the bone directly below my ankle bone is slightly protruded and not allowing me the bear full weight. No discoloring or real swelling

You need to go to the ER immediately. If the bone is protruding then it could be an acute attack of arthritis and needs treatment.
