Hello,

1. Although you are a diagnosed case of Lupus, remember that ANA [anti nuclear antibody], apart from lupus can also be positive for SLE, mixed connective tissue disease, scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic autoimmune hepatitis, Sjogren's syndrome, necrotic vasculitis and interstitial pulmonary fibrosis. So ask your rheumatologist to kindly check it for the same, instead of simply going for lupus and also general examination regarding the same.

2. In Ayurveda, it can be described as 'Mansa Dhatugat and Mansavrita Vata', and is described as a Vata imbalance which destabilizes the nervous system and leading to pain and tenderness. Accumulation of Ama and shrotorodha are also important factors.

3. Measures like snehan and swedan are very useful to balance Vata and to loosen the ama. Consult with an Ayurveda Expert for treatment options. PS: Avoid: hot, spicy and fried foods, sweets, brinjal, cabbage, cauliflower, spinach, and potatoes, tea, coffee, alcohol, white sugar, yogurt, chocolate, worry, anxiety, fear, stress, and grief, sleep inversion.
. Practice yoga postures like Bhujangasana, Halasana, Shalabhasana, Shavasana, Uttarapadasana, shirodhara, shirobasti.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
