Thanks for posting your query .

You didn't mentioned since how long you are having Knee Joint pain as it is essential in making a diagnosis .

Yes it could be Osteo Arthitis but there are other conditions which can cause knee joint pain like Septic Arthritis , Reactive Arthritis etc .

I advise you to get X ray Knee Joint AP and lateral , CBC , and revert back to me .

Till then you can use Hot compresses , Volini gel 2-3 times a day .
