What Causes Pain In The Knees While Suffering From Cold?

Hi, this is Nahida from Bangladesh. My younger daughter is 22 months old. She has been suffering from cold for the last 12 days. Till now I haven’t given her any medicine. Last night, suddenly, she was telling she has pain in her right leg knee joint. Is it because of cold? Or there may be any other reason? Please advise……..

Your daughter is 22 months means almost 2 year old, must be very playful and running, jumping around. It is possible that she got an injury to the right knee and thus complaining of pain.
I would advise you to take her to the Pediatrician or preferably to the Orthopedic Surgeon for a proper clinical evaluation and investigations like X-ray if needed; get a prescription based medication. Best not to miss anything at such an young age.
As for the cold, better to get it treated as may unnecessarily complicate.
Do not treat at home, always consult a Doctor.
