General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to side effects of the flu shot. I suggest using Tylenol three times a day for the pain. I also suggest using cold compresses at the injection site. The symptoms will go away on its own.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
