General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I can assure you it is not any such side effect caused by Febutaz. Exactly Uric acid deposits as crystals in joints and thus causes Gouty Arthritis. You are advised to limit the use of protein and such foods.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
