What Causes Pain In The Left Hand?

Dr. my mother has been suffering pain left hand pain since her left hand finger surgery due to cut by knife six months ago. now she is feeling pain and she cannot work as she did earlier. we consulted ayurveda and english medicine. they said there is no nerve problem .Please advice
