What Causes Pain In The Left Leg While Treating Pneumonia?

I am having pain in my left leg in the going area I was just released from the hospital a blood clot was ruled out at home and started to notice pain that came on all of sudden over last two days not able to lift my left leg up I am taking meds for pneumonia. What should I do

Hi there,

I'd be worried that you had a blood clot in your leg that was missed, especially if you were in the hospital for some time. If you had an ultrasound on our left leg, and there truly was no evidence of pneumonia, then you may just have too much fluid in your system. I'd recommend using compression stockings in the affected leg, and keeping your leg elevated. I'd also recommend walking and not staying in bed all day.
