Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello,

Apparently knee joint was affected with accumulation of fluid in joint space. Clarification may be given about the nature of fluid drained from joint space; is it clear or turbid or hemorrhagic.

Accordingly it may be some infection or trauma. The pain in leg may be due to knee involvement. It is pain from knee to down wards.

Consult one surgeon for examination and advice on further investigation and treatment. Cortisone should have been avoided.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ashok Kumar Dash, Ophthalmologist
