What Causes Pain In The Left Leg?

I have had a pain in my left leg for 5 weeks and it hasn t gone away. I have been seeing my pup and he has prescribed various medications such as anti inflammatory and pain reliever but the pain is not going away. We both believe it is a pinched nerve some where It is time to see a specialist. What kind?

Hi welcome to health care magic....

According to history yes it is time to consult doctor.....

The causes that has to be ruled out is. ....
-Calcium deficiency
-Scitiaca like nerve pain
-nerve compression from spinal bulged disc
-bony disease like osteoporosis or malignant lesion
-anemia etc....

According to examination further work up done.... Like...
-x ray
-serum calcium
-MRI scan etc...
