What Causes Pain In The Left Leg?

I am having pain in my left leg. I was in the emergency room on Thursday and they checked for a blood clot, this was negative. The pain continues to get worse. It is in by calf, knee, hip and lower back. There is significant swelling, some bruising and severe pain when standing, dull pain when setting.

Hi,

You can go for a repeat ultrasound to rule out cellulitis or DVT.

As per your description, it seems like cellulitis.

As of now, you can take analgesics like Acetaminophen or Tramadol for pain relief.

Consult a general surgeon and he will direct you accordingly.
