What Causes Pain In The Left Side Of The Chest And Back?

Hi, I have been experiencing sharp chest pains in the left side of my chest, and back. The pain is running to my shoulder and down my arm (left side as well). I am also feeling nausea, and headaches. It has been happening since last night. I tried to sleep it off, but it came back worse today. I was sleeping in front of a fan because I kept heating up, and it made me sweat alot more. The pain is making it really hard for me to breathe, cough, laugh. I was also experiencing pain in my entire body yesterday, where it felt as if my whole body had been bruised, and it hurt to eat, and walk.

hello dear,
i understood your concern,
if my patient present with same feature most commonly possibilities are:
1) myocardial infarction: it may be associate with squeezing type of pain for this i do EKG any abrnomalaties i go with the cause and treat accordingly.
2) peptic ulcer disease or gastro esophagel reflex disease: both present with burning pain which can be relived by simple drug TAB pantoprazole EARLY MORNING BEFORE FOOD. if recurrent or persistant i go with further investigation like endoscopy .
3) achalasia cardia ;present with similar feature in which there is norrowing at end of food pipe.

so for this you take this simple drug:
TAB PANTA PRAZOLE 40 MG EARLY MORNING FOR 5 DAYS.
IF IT IS NOT RELIVED AFTER USE OF SINGLE TABLET.

go to physcian get ekg done. and get further management.
