What Causes Pain In The Left Side Of The Chest?

I have a sharp pain in my chest above left breast it has gotten more painful and a slight bruised and swelling. it hurts more when I talk or turn my head to the left stand up or breath. I just had a baby a week go and had a cesection and had to have a blood trancfusion.

I really appreciate your concern, what the history and symptoms are given here could be suggestive of muscular spasm and it can be treated with tab Chlorzoxazone once in day, if it is not the swelling or infection then local application or rubefacient can be tried, if the pain persistence even after that then better to get done the x-ray of chest, hope this information helps.
