Do you have Diabetes, or Neuropathy due to any cause. If so the toe and feet can be numb. Thus you may step on a sharp object, and may not experience pain, and would sustain injury. If such is the case, please wear soft, pressure distributing insoles at all waking times. Materials like EVA, Poron, Plastazote, Silicon are good. Please keep the skin of the feet soft with any skin softner like Vaseline. This present injury, please keep it dressed with neosporin or mupirocin oint, till complete wound healing. Please keep it clean, and if possible limit your ambulation to the minimum.
