What Causes Pain In The Leg After Hip Replacement?

Hello, I am 55 yrs old. Have had both hips replaced (one 4 yrs ago-the other 3 yrs ago) Since that time I have leg pain (feels like a rubber band inside that is stretched-and about to snap) Only sometimes-but is somewhat debilitating when it occurs. I have recently had labs done that say I m at stage 2 of chronic Kidney disease-my question is, what is safe to take on the days I experience pain?

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hi,

According to your history you provide you can take Paracetamol or Ibuprofen twice orally in cases of strong pain. However better for you to be seen by your doctor just in case to be safe.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
