What Causes Pain In The Legs Along With Toothache?

my legs ache constantly with the persistence of a torturous toothache. this is at rest. in fact, I hardly ever leave my bed. this is in my calf. I also have neuropathy in that foot up to my knee. (right leg) both legs wake me up with the most horrible cramps, in the calves, thighs, buttocks, feet, toes, hips, all at the same time, bottom to top, top to bottom. i m usually begging for death when this happens. this happens after I have been on my feet for maybe two hours. from this info, what type of md do I need to see. I ve already been to one orthopedic dr who put some major shots in my knee when a large lump came up on it. I,ve had a mri on that knee, showing only osteoarthritis. so the orthopedist let me go with more questions and no answers; however, the constant aches in the calves is new ...I just desperately need to get to the correct physician.

Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of pain in the legs along with toothache which seems to be due to dental abscess formation which is putting pressure as infection extending from tooth to region below root apex leading to pus formation. Leg pain is seems to be due to infection. I would suggest you to consult a oral physician once and get proper cleaning of the area done. Do warm saline rinses 2-3 times a day and take anti inflammatory. Go for root canal treatment of concerned tooth to prevent further spread of infection. Go for irrigation of area with hydrogen peroxide, betadine and saline.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
