I have had back issues for years and have had a discectomy - 20 years ago. Lately my back has become very sore, my legs seem weak and it is getting hard to walk. When I stand some times it feels like my back is made of jelly and I will fall. I exercise 2 to 3 times a week, though I could lose some weight. (6 1 at about 250) Also, if I am out working, I am fine-no issues, but when I sit for a few minutes and can barely walk. It will take me about 20 steps before I can walk. Exrays taken a 6 months ago showed 3 degenerate discs in the lower back. I believe I need to see a neurosurgeon now and would like to know if you can recommend what type of procedure would best meet my needs as well as the correct surgeon to perform the task. I live near Green Bay, Wi.
