What Causes Pain In The Legs Post Treatment For Allergic Reaction?

My grand son has a allergic reaction to amoxicillin rash for 3 days stopped the drug. Giving Benadryl Now he is complaint about his hands hurting legs. Walking very slow... Fever... No swelling of lips or face. Concerned. If the rash and everthing will soon go away

Hi.

Well the pain seems to be most probably due to overall lethargy caused due to allergic reaction.

If there is fever you can give Him Acetaminophen.

Also it will help in reducing pain amd discomfort.

Give him sufficient rest and make him drink plenty of water.

In case if there is no improvement consult a Paediatrician and get evaluated.
