I started coughing and my legs started to hurt and continue to hurt now im on a medicine for acid reflex but my legs never hurt before when I coughed I take my omeprazole faithfully everyday along with other medicine s and it never happened before I will call my doctor in the morning any suggestions thank you
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Pain in leg may not be caused by coughing or a cause related to cough. It may just be a coincidence.Only a good description of your pain in leg and the exact location may help us to tell you possible causes.I will suggest you try the following: -Continue with your acid reflux medications -Avoid going on an empty stomach -Take a pain medication like celebid 100(COX 2 inhibitor) since it may not aggarvate your acid reflux issues. If pain persist, you see your Doctor for examination and investigation. Hope this will help Wish you good health
