What Causes Pain In The Legs Upon Coughing?

I started coughing and my legs started to hurt and continue to hurt now im on a medicine for acid reflex but my legs never hurt before when I coughed I take my omeprazole faithfully everyday along with other medicine s and it never happened before I will call my doctor in the morning any suggestions thank you

Pain in leg may not be caused by coughing or a cause related to cough.It may just be a coincidence.Only a good description of your pain in leg and the exact location may help us to tell you possible causes.I will suggest you try the following:
-Continue with your acid reflux medications
-Avoid going on an empty stomach
-Take a pain medication like celebid 100(COX 2 inhibitor) since it may not aggarvate your acid reflux issues.
If pain persist, you see your Doctor for examination and investigation.
