What Causes Pain In The Legs?

I have had leg pain for two days. It started in the back of my right leg but it moves from the back of my leg to the front of my knee. Sometimes it aches in the front and the back. I have not exercized in the past week so it is not related to overdoing anything. I have tried massaging it but it does no good. Im not sure if I should be concerned or not. I am taking advil but it doesn jit help much.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult a general surgeon and plan for a vascular Doppler.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
