What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen And Heavy Menstrual Bleeding?

I ve in a lot of physical pain, and there are quite a few things happening at once. It seems like I might actually have two separate problems at once, one in my vagina and one in my other reproductive organs, but that s just my gut feeling. My symptoms: 1. Occasional stabbing pain on both sides in my lower abdomen, where I m guessing my ovaries are according to medical images. It lasts for a few seconds where I can t even move because of the pain, then mellows out to a discomfort for a few minutes, then goes away for a few hours. 2. Spotting during every single menstrual cycle. 3. Periods lasting for 6-8 days, with heavy clotting. Pad has to be changed roughly every four hours for the first 3 or 4 days. 3. Pain during my period, both cramps and a clenching sensation in my vagina. Usually lessened with ibuprofen, but sometimes it s not enough. 4. Constant discharge. It is often yellowish, always has an unpleasant smell when I use the bathroom, and sometimes leaves a smell in my pants as well as my underwear, sometimes bad enough that I have to keep my legs clenched together or put something in my underwear as an odor blocker. 5. Vaginal pain, as if the inside walls are rubbed raw, even though I have not masturbated or had sex for a while. Sometimes I get the clenching feeling associated with my period right after the abdomen pain, but neither of these things ever happen during my period. Notes: 1. My grandma had endometriosis and had a hysterectomy. My mom had polycystic fibroids and was thought to be infertile (She had 2 children.) 2. I have only had sex with one person, over a year ago. 3. The symptoms have been present since my first period, but have been getting more severe lately.

Hi, I think you should go for evaluation by a gynecologist. Do a thyroid profile and prolactin levels and a ultrasound for your uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of irregular bleeding and heavy bleeding. It can be due to hormonal imbalances or may be some infection.
