What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen On The Right Side?

Woke about 3 a.m. with pain in lower right side. Not sharp or sensitive to the touch. Couldn t get comfortable for at least an hour. Got up and took 2 ibuprophen. After about half an hour, pain was less, but still there. Today I have dull pain in the right side of my back all day. Don t know if a problem or not. I am 72 years old and in reasonably good health.

Hello,

It might be due to right ureteric colic. Get a USG(Ultrasonography) abdomen done. Complete blood count(CBC) and urine routine analysis should be also done.
