What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen On The Right Side?
Hi I have been having lower abdomen pain for almost 2 months. It was worse on the lower right hand side but then moved to the area over the transverse colon and also onto the area of the descending colon on palpation. My doctor thought I may have a hernia, but ultrasound proved negative. I have since noticed in the last 24 hours that I have some difficulty starting and maintaining what would be my normal urine flow.
An abdominal pain as you described, is normally connected to a digestive problem, especially when the ultrasound examination does not showes any specific. Try to eat more healthy fruits and vegetables, also a lot o fiber definitely would help with the digestion and ease the process of stool creation.
Regarding the recent 24-hours, the pain during urination may be caused for totally other reasons. This can be related to a urinary tract infection. For this week try to drink 2-3 liters water per day, and boil some cranberry tee every day. If ot doesnt ease, then you need to get Nitrofurantoine or Bactrime to fight bacteria in your urine. I wish you fast relief. Best Regards,
Dr. Eni Manoku
