What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen Radiating To The Back?
I been experiencing a sharp\bruning pain in my lower abdominal area, radiating to my back, bloating, presure and always feeling like I need to urinate. The pain was onset right away. I have an ovarian cysts before and what I remember these were pretty the same symptoms I had be for. The pain has be going on for about 24 hours. Any advice or suggestions? Thanks, jess PS my lower left side is more painful the the other side, especially when I lay Flat and apply pressure.
Very likely your symptoms are due to constipation but it is best to rule out ovarian problems first, especially because you already have had ovarian cysts.
I would recommend you to have a transvaginal ultrasound and a urinalysis and if these are normal then constipation is a likely cause.
In this case, you may take movicol to help your stools be soft and also make sure you take plenty for fruit and vegetable with diet and plenty of water.
I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
