What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen?

I am having lower abdominal pain and cramping. I m 59 years old, female and have had a hysterectomy and and an appendectomy. I ve never had a kidney stone but I have a family history of them. I have felt a discomfort from urination for about three weeks now. Would a bladder infection cause this much pain? Forget it....

it can be gastritis colitis or calculi in bladder or ureter. ultrasound kub should be done and get gynic checkup for excluding involvement of uterus .
