My spouse is complaining of moderate pain in his lower left abdomen. Ihe is a male 59 years old. He is having small and frequent bowel movements for about 4-5 hours. He is bloated and chilly. Movement intensifies the pain. He has a history of heart attack and has 3 stints.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a renal colic.

As of now, you can take analgesics like tramadol for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a urologist and plan for an ultrasound scan for further assessment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
