What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen?

I am a 34 year old female with lower abdominal pain that is in a line between my low abdomen to my urethra. I have had this since starting to do yoga 5 years ago and figured i had pulled a muscle in my groin. Over the last year it has been recurring. In the last month it is nearly continuous whether I do yoga or not. I have an appointment to see a doctor but that is a month away. What could this be?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your history it may be due to pulled muscle. You can take tab. Metaxalone and Diclofenac after consultation. Do regular physiotherapy. Apply Diclofenac gel or ointment. Kindly consult with physician for detailed examination.

Take care.
