What Causes Pain In The Lower Back On The Left Side?
Had a sore back for several days. Do not appear to have symptoms of a cold or flu. Movements particularly up and down steps, trying to sit in the car and some twisting like movements cause pain in the lower back on the left side. Been taking ibuprofen for a couple of days to try to ease some of the pain. (Pain is usually a stinging pain sharp pain). Have no pain from urinating and bm pain occurs only from the paper work and the body twisting needed to wipe.

What Causes Pain In The Lower Back On The Left Side?
Hello, It could be due to spine related prolapsed disc or nerve compression. As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
