What Causes Pain In The Lower Back While Suffering From Bladder Infection?
So I ve been on antibiotics for about 2weeks now for a bladder infection. First Nitrofurantoin, a seven day cycle, now Amoxicillin, a ten day cycle. My urine is completely normal until my lower back starts to hurt, mainly on my left side, then I have a ton of blood in my urine. Is this normal for a bad bladder infection or do I need to go back to the doctor?

Hello,
I think you should do an ultrasound to check for kidney stones. I don't prefer amoxicillin for urinary tract infection. Ciprofloxacin works better for it. I think kidney stones are the reason for blood in urine and back pain.
