What Causes Pain In The Lower Back?

I have dull pain in my lower back. Started suddenly after sitting for hours. On going for 3 weeks. Hurts worse while sitting but not while sleeping or standing up. Have some pain in tummy and lower abdomen. Feels like mild cramps. Have a lot of gas at times. Should I go to my doctor? What may be the problem?

Hello welcome to the health care magic

Sometime viral gastritis can lead backache as constitutional symptom along with abdominal pain

For that pantoprazole can be prescribed for week

Green leafy vegetables and fruits taken more

Avoid excess spicy foods

Avoid smoking, stress, excess tea etc..

Investigate with CBC also

If no improvement than USG abdomen and spine x ray might needed

Take care

Consult physician for examination and discuss your case
