General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to the nerves. Generally, a visit with the doctor and a neurological examination is needed to localize the problem.

As for the local compresses, some patients find warm compresses more beneficial and some find the cold compresses helpful. There is no clear cut rule, you can use what you think is helping you most.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
