What Causes Pain In The Middle Arm?

Q. Pain in left mid arm, gone on for 2-3 weeks. Location down I hands breathe from shoulder. Not painful to touch but really hurts when trying to put on coat etc. Heart rate 76 reg , Got flu shot and whooping caugh in thi s arm 2 weeks ago followed by soreness.
