What Causes Pain In The Middle Of Chest And Jaw?

My husband has been experiencing severe pain in the middle of his chest, his jaw at times hurts as well. He has taken two nitroglycerin around 1-2pm and it subsided, however it has started again and took another nitro pill. He did experience left arm pain after the first episode.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern....

As per your complain pain in jaw along with chest pain and pain in left arm are all indications of Cardiovascular diseases like ANGINA ,STROKE etc and it is a Medical emergency condition and you should immediately consult an emergency room or an Expert Cardiologist and get him evaluated..
The Cardiologist after doing his clinical examination can advise an ECG and get the emergency treatment done..
You should not waste time and only taking Nitroglycerine may not alone.. help and he needs urgent medical assistance..

Hi dear ,

The symptoms you mention in query are alarming and should be taken seriously . They are pointing towards cardiac problem . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist as soon as possible , because its a kind of medical emergency . For now ask him to do proper rest , do not exert his body and do not panic . Doctor may order tests like ECG or angiography .
