I don t push myself, I don t have high blood pressure, I go to bed AROUND 9 PM and and RISE AROUND 5:00 AM. I cook from scratch most of the time, we eat healthy food. I drink non fat milk, two cups of coffee a day and we have a glass of red wine before dinner. I do have hot flashes and chills off and on. I am 78 years and went through metaphase years ago. I believe I WAS 40 YEARS OLD. THANK YOU FOR ANY INFOMATION. pAT jOHNSON

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Middle chest pain could be caused by many medical conditions. Some possible causes may include:
-Gastritis/GERD
-Heart pthologies
-Problems with liver/gallbladder or pancréas
-Lungs problems may as well give you such symptoms
Only a keen examination by the Doctor with some tests if need be may help identify the exact cause.I will suggest you see the Doctor. From his findings on physical examination, tests will be requested that may help.
Hope this will help
Wish you good health
