What Causes Pain In The Middle Of The Forehead?

All of a sudden the middle of my forhead was starting to slightly hurt? Then a few hours later the pain got more intense and I noticed a bump. The bump seems to just be getting bigger. And is very sore to touch. It s about the size of a egg. Every time I put my head upside down, I feel like blood rushes to the bump and starts throbbing. It s painful to move my eye brows up and down. I know it s not a zit, and I also know I never hit my head. It literally came outta know where.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The pain in your forehead is due to the bump you have there.

If you don't remember to hit that site, then should consult immediately with a neurologist. MRI of head and EEG to find the right diagnosis.

Apply cold compresses on the bump.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
