What Causes Pain In The Mouth That Has Radiated To The Face, Ears, Neck And Shoulders?

My girlfriend has been having pain. It started in her mouth. It s now spread down her neck and her shoulder up her face and effects her ear. She thinks it s a wisdom tooth possibly. It leaves her crying and she can deal with a lot of pain. This has been going on for at least 3 weeks. Should she go to the er?
