What Causes Pain In The Neck And Breathing Difficulty?

I am a LCSW , I have a client that overdosed over the week-end and they released her yesterday. Today she is texting me saying she is not feeling well, she is having pain in her neck and has had some panic attacks. she is having a hard time breathing when she tries to walk. I am very inexperienced in this area, any suggestions/

In my opinion, your client is having stress, anxiety and panic disorder related symptoms.
So tell her to consult psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions.
Try to identify stressor in her life and start working on its solution.
She may need anxiolytic drugs too.
For instant pain relief, she can take painkiller like ibuprofen or acetaminophen and apply warm water pad on neck.
