What Causes Pain In The Neck And Lower Back?

My husband and I are in Mexico. He has had neck pain, lower back pain, and a pulse rate of 115. He has no other sympotms. He has been asleep for the past two hours so I am wondering if it may just be a bug or should I be concerned that it is something serious. Can t take him to doctor like I would at home.

Please see that it may be spine strain as due to journey associated exertion. But the pulse of 115 is a bit odd. So I advise you to visit an emergency as there your husband will be properly evaluated.
