What Causes Pain In The Neck And Shoulder?

I have neck and left shoulder pain. My left arm hurts with numbness and tingling down all the way to finger tips. Now both legs have numbness and tingling. I have extreme nausea, that no meds have have helped yet. I m extremely tired all the time. I have back pain and upper abdominal pain. Iam now experiencing dizzy spells all the time. Could this be heart related? Iam 53 yrs old white femail. I suffer from massive abdominal adhesions and usually have surgery once s year to take them down. I have now had a total of 54 various surgeries. Last one was in May for submandibular glad excision. Iam still running a low grade fever and now my paranoid gland is swelling.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I have gone through your query. It may be due to occipital neuralgia.

For further assessment you may require MRI neck, nerve conduction studies, vit b 12 level after spine surgeon consultation.

You can take tablet acetaminophen for pain.

You may require tablet Pregabalin and multivitamin after consultation.

Do regular physical therapy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
