What Causes Pain In The Neck Radiating To The Shoulder And Back?

I have been having pain and discomfort down the side of my neck and into my shoulder and upper back area. I thought it was a crick in my neck but it hurts worse than any crick I have ever had and this has been going on for about two weeks maybe a little longer.

Hi,

This sounds like a muscular pain. I would recommend you to take Paracetamol and Ibuprofen together to help with pain and also use local warm compresses to release the spasms of the muscles.

You might get great help if you see a physiotherapist to give you exercises to help the muscle relax and improve pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
