General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

From the symptoms, I agree with you to some extent that this seems to be something else rather than a simple lump.

Any simple lump, will not re-occur again. It seems more of a muscle or a connective tissue disorder that may have gone undiagnosed.

I would suggest you get a recent MRI done and after assessing the extent of the lesion, a core needle biopsy with histopathology examination should be done to come to an exact diagnosis.

It is appreciable that you avoid taking any sort of pain medications and should continue doing the same.

The root cause of this needs to be found out first rather than blindly taking the medicines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein,
General Surgeon
