What Causes Pain In The Occipital Part Of The Brain?

hello doctor my brother is experiencing a horrible pain in the occipital part of his brain. He says that it's unbearable and when i myself tried checking it out i felt that he was shivering. Just for further information he just had a high temper a few moments ago. please help doc..
