What Causes Pain In The Pelvic Area And Vaginal Infection During Pregnancy?
Hi, my name is Lina, I gave birth to my first child on January 2011 and I m 1 month pregnant right now, I recently had a pain in the pelvic area with a small vaginal infection and when I went to the emergency room the gynec. doctor prescribed me Doloprim five hundred mg and Sugest 400 mg every 12 hours. I m not to confident about the Sugest medicine, since I ve heard that it is also used for abortion, can you please advise me what I can do?
hello dear,i understand your concern. In my opinion vaginal infection might cause irritation of uterus and cause pain and discomfort. So quiten the uterus and decrease the pain progesterone might be prescried. There are many types of progesterones. Some are used for abortion and some used in conditions like preterm labour or irritable uterus in pregnancy. So suggest 400 mg might be given in such conditions. So dont worry.Relax.It can be taken safely.Take rest and avoid physical strain. Best regards....dr,srilatha
