What Causes Pain In The Rib Cage On The Left Side?

Ive had a pain on my left rib for the past 4 weeks. It is very uncomfortable to sleep, cough, breathe, sneeze or laugh hard, I had a bad cough about 2 weeks before, ive had no accidents it has just came out of the blue. Today i sneezed and felt a sharp pain like something had cracked, Ive not been to see a doctor as I cant get an appointment can you advise me what to do and what this could be.

The description you have given suggest the possibility of costochondritis. It is nothing but an inflammatory condition affecting the cartilage of ribs.

As of now, you can take analgesics/ anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase combination for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, you can consult a physician and get evaluated.
