What Causes Pain In The Rib Cage On The Right Side?

Hello, Ok so, I ve read a few things online but can not seem to find the right answer I now have had pain in my right side rib for the last hour now and it comes and goes, Every time I take a breathe, there is a slight sting and I exhale the pain is at easy, at first I use to think it was my bras but then I changed it and nope still sore. And at the moment I am under a blanket on my bed waiting for the pain to go away. Is there anything I can do to make it stop ?

Hello,
This is pleuritic type of pain. Most of the times occur due to viral infection of lining of lungs. You should have nsaid therapy like tab Ibuprofen 400 mg whenever needed upto three times a day along with some antacids like tab Pantoprazole 40 mg before breakfast once a day.
If this doesn't in 2-3 days then needs evaluation like chest x ray, complete hemogram with esr.
