Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a dull pain in the left lower rib cage area. No bruising and recently had an x-ray that did not show any abnormality. Not worse with deep breaths. Has been present about 2 weeks. Sometimes it twinges for a moment or two and then goes away.
I think you should check your pancreatic enzymes and total blood count for inflammation. Also, the gastroduodenal ulcer is possible and a Fibroscopy can be done to evaluate the situation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
