What Causes Pain In The Ribs At The Right Side?
hello doctor, I am a 57 y old woman, having diabetics from past 15 y. i am taking isryl-m2 tablet daily morning one and evening half. From past 10 months I am having a very mild catching pain below the ribs on right side, only on some angle.It is not continuous.

Dear Madam,
As you are taking a combination of metformin you are more likely to develop acid peptic disease which sometimes presents as catchy pains. Discuss with your diabetologist regarding splitting the tablet and taking metformin after food. Please check your blood sugars as well.
