What Causes Pain In The Ribs, Leg And Back?

The last WBC I had was in the 20K range, I have rib pain, leg pain and back pain (rib area, not spine), and it feels like a really bad muscle cramp. Its not constant but does happen about 10 times a day. This pain has been going on for about 3 months, and when I was given my wbc count and told it was high, I started putting it all together and wondered if this all could be linked. What could be causing this?

Hi,

Pain in the ribs is mostly not serious, however, if it persists this long and your WBC count is high we need to evaluate it. This can be linked, like if there is an infection, in the lungs or the bones that may be caused raised WBC and pain. So I understand you should see your doctor for a proper examination, and chest X-ray and scans if needed. Even if these are not linked but this high Tlc need evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
