What Causes Pain In The Ribs?

I have what I can only describe as 3 fat Vain s running down from under my rib cage to my upper hip they feel quite tough but are not really painful just alittle uncomfortable they appeared around the beginning of this week! I have never had this before.

It could be costochondritis. Tou can take analgesics like paracetamol or ibuprofen. I pain persist consult a general practitioner.
